Concordia University of Edmonton values its history and tradition, knowing that it provides all students with a strong foundation for their futures. For nearly a century, Concordia University of Edmonton has been part of growing Edmonton and a key educational institution in the province of Alberta, Concordia University of Edmonton dipoma. The university began as a fulfillment of the dream of German Lutheran immigrants who valued the value of education highly. The current university was established as a post-secondary institution in downtown Edmonton in 1921 with the help of the Lutheran Church of the Missouri Synod. Concordia University of Edmonton was established on Treaty 6 land in 1926 after purchasing land from Hudson Bay. The company was founded in 1925.
Since then, Concordia University of Edmonton has grown into one of Edmonton’s finest small universities and professional Qualification-granting institutions. It is now recognized globally as a university committed to academic excellence in teaching and research, welcoming nearly 2,000 students each year from across Canada and more than 40 countries around the world.
Today, Concordia University Edmonton offers more than 45 majors and minors in the arts, sciences and management, Get Canada diplomas, as well as post-Qualification programs (education and environmental health), master’s degrees, and a range of in-demand graduate certificates and postgraduate Credentials areas.
